Laniakea is a gorgeous name for the galactic supercluster that constitutes the entire known universe, at least until we discover something even bigger. Starting from contemplating the vastness of Laniakea herself, we contemplate our small, precious speck of matter and ask how we intend to treat it with the respect it deserves. "Expelled from the garden," that's what we like to believe. But we live in the garden. We can die but we can't leave.
